It is the land of abundance of natural beauty, immaculate gardens, sparkling rivers, backdrop of snow-capped mountains, rich history, noteworthy art, and inspiring culture. The glorious piece of heaven on Earth, Kashmir has something for tourists of all ages. You can take a shikara boat ride, enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Gulmarg or unwind at the picture-perfect town of Pahalgam; all the while you will be creating memories that you will relish the rest of your life. It is sometimes called the Switzerland of India for its enchanting allure.

 

Itinerary:

  • Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar
On your arrival at the airport, our representative will escort you to a pre-booked hotel/houseboat. After you settle into your room, you will be taken to Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh which are the largest Mughal Gardens in Kashmir. These gardens have Dal Lake in the background and are considered to be very beautiful in spring and autumn. On your journey to the Gardens from Srinagar, we will visit a carpet-weaving factory. Night stay will be at the hotel where dinner will also be served.
  • Day 2: Srinagar to Sonamarg and back to Srinagar
After breakfast, you will be driven to Sonamarg which is also called ‘Meadow of Gold’ (84 Kms/ 2.5 hrs) to enjoy a full day excursion. You can take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier, an year-round slow laden glacier. It also serves as the base for treks to Harmukh range via Nichnai, Vishensar Lake, Gangabal, and Nara Nag and is famous for Trout fishing. After the tour, we will head back to the hotel in Srinagar where you can enjoy dinner.  Overnight stay will also be at the hotel.
  • Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, we will head towards Gulmarg which is known as Meadow of Flowers (56Km/2hrs). On arrival at Gulmarg, check into your hotel and take a walk through the lush green meadows with blooming Lupins and Buttercups. The sensational snowcapped mountains will provide you a memorable experience. Gulmarg is also considered a leading skiing resort in the country. Here you can also enjoy a pony ride or Gondola ride (rope way) to Khillanmarg (at your own cost).
  • Day 4: Gulmarg to Pahalgam
After breakfast and check out from the hotel we will leave for Pahalgam which is called (7200 ft) “Village of Shepherds” for overnight stay. Enroute we will visit the world famous Saffron growing fields and Awantipura ruins (9th Century). The region is one of the Bollywood’s favorite. It is also famous for its trekking routes and base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Enjoy its natural beauty, river and genteel surroundings.  Dinner & overnight will be at the Hotel.
  • Day 5: Pahalgam to Srinagar
On Day 5, we will go back to Srinagar after breakfast. On arrival, we will assist you to check into a houseboat. Have a fun filled evening with a ride of Dal Lake on a ‘Shikara’. This is often compared to the boat rides in Venice and you will see many interesting places around the lake. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay at the Deluxe Houseboat.
  • Day 6: Srinagar Departure
After breakfast you will be driven to Srinagar airport to board your flight for your onward journey.

  • Pony rides for sightseeing at any place Pahalgam- Sonmarg – Gulmarg by car, unless car is on disposal basis but chandanwari & aru valley not included.
  • Meals for extra person / children which are not mentioned in the tour package.
  • Upgrade of transport due to extra no of person or any other reason from cheaper / smaller vehicle to luxury / bigger vehicle.
  • Any additional Vehicle requirement viz from Tanmarg onwards during snowfall.
  • Any adventure activity like paragliding, skating or skiing etc..
  • Any up grade of rooms without extra charge (sub to availability).
  • Any additional charges Change of hotel / houseboat at last moment.

Travel tips:
  • Best time to visit Kashmir is from March to October.
  • Pack sweatshirts and light woolen clothes if you are traveling to Kashmir in summers. However, for winters pack heavy woolens.
  • Consult your doctor and carry prescribed medicines (if any) all the time with you.
  • Don’t do anything that is improper according to the region’s customs.
  • Must visit all the popular attractions and click lots of pictures.
  • Do carry print outs of your itinerary and tour confirmation voucher, it may be required at the time of hotel check-in, and for transfers and sightseeing.
  • Carry a government approved ID proof.
