Kerala uses a slogan to promote itself – “Gods Own Country” – and with the serenity and customs it boasts, that doesn’t seem a hyperbole. So visit the exquisite place which is not only God’s country but also a tourist paradise and home to kathakali plays, wild elephants, exotic birds, unique temple festivals and snake-boat races.

Itinerary: Our 3 nights and 4 days Kerala tour includes 2 nights in Munnar and 1 night in Thekkady.

  • Day 1: Arrival Cochin – Munnar
Meet and greet assistance on arrival in Cochin. You will be escorted to a pre-booked hotel/resort in Munnar. You can enjoy rest of the day at leisure or can explore the scenic town (one your own). Stay overnight at the hotel/resort.
  • Day 2: Munnar sightseeing
After breakfast, we will arrange a sightseeing tour of Munnar for you, where you can explore the Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Old Munnar Town and the town market. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure. Spend a comfortable night at the hotel/resort.
  • Day 3: Munnar - Thekkady
Check out of the hotel after enjoying your breakfast. You will be provided transfer to Thekkady, where you would arrive by the afternoon. Check into a pre-booked hotel and enjoy rest of the day at leisure or go on an optional boat cruise in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (on your own). Stay overnight at the hotel/resort.
  • Day4: Thekkady - Cochin
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. You will be provided transfer to the Cochin railway station/airport for your onward journey.

  Travel tips:
  • A strict dress code should be followed to visit the temples and don’t forget remove your footwear outside.
  • The best time to visit Kerala is from September to March when the weather is pleasant and ideal for sightseeing and outdoor activities.
  • Take cotton clothing with you as the weather can be really humid.
  • Pack some woolen clothes as the hill stations are often cold.
  • Don’t wear a lot of precious jewelleries and keep it to the bare minimum for safety reasons.
  • Heat in Kerala can be energy sapping so keep yourself hydrated at all times.
  • On beach visits listen to lifeguards and the police. You can bathe or surf in the ocean but be careful of underwater rocks which can cause injuries.
  • You might have to tip taxi drivers or waiters or tourist guide. It is generally 10% of the service amount.
  • To get ayurvedic treatments in Kerela, visit Ayurveda centers which are approved by the Kerala Tourism Department.
  • Do carry print outs of your itinerary and tour confirmation voucher, it may be required at the time of hotel check-in, and for transfers and sightseeing.
